A sports bar that won't turn on the timbers game. If you can't support a local team then we won't support you. We came in a group of 10 to watch the timbers play and was told you couldn't change even one TV to the game so we walked out. You can guarantee we won't be back!

Not wild about anything here on the menu. Just "so so" in my opinion.

Just not very good...We have been quite a few times thinking it may just us. It wasn't as it is just not very good. Portions are smaller, prices are high and the service is just OK. I would not recommend either location anymore. Sorry!

Don't care for the food. Tried several times. Service slow and restaurant loud. Very pricey.

I don't understand the negative reviews, I've been eating here regularly since they opened. I love the ambience, the clean and friendly environment and the menu.... And yes they have modified the menu in these trying times... But, you have to try any of the burgers, and the calamari is Devine!!!

It all started last October- baseball playoffs. My husband and I decide we will go to Lil Cooperstown- a restaurant named for where baseball hall of fame resides. They must have baseball on, right? Wrong. Every TV (at least 10 in the place) is showing a Seahawks game. When we asked if they could put baseball on one of the tvs in their baseball themed restaurant, we were told no, there's a Seahawks game on. Are you kidding me! This place does not deserve the name Lil Cooperstown. So fast forward to last night we decide to go there and watch the Angels Mariners game, grab a beer, share some Mudpie. Games on, cool. This is going well so far. One minute. Two minutes. Five minutes go by no one has acknowledged us. We were sitting at the bar. Five different employees walked by U.S.- some multiple times. No one said hi. No one said we will be right with you. So we left. So really I should be thanking this place because we went home, drank our own beer, ate our own ice cream, watched the game from the comfort of our couch on our own tv and saved $30. Thanks Lil Cooperstown. Never going there again.

We had dinner there yesterday (4/18), and I am sorry to say that we experienced such a poor level of service, I can't remember anything worse! It took over 20 minutes to take our order, and well over 30 minutes to get served. Had to ask for silverware twice, it was horrible, and the place was not that busy, it was 5 PM. I will avoid this place in the future.

Blah.... My husband and I have tried Lil Cooperstown on many occasions, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it's not doing it for us. The food is below average. I ordered the Rueben and the meat was incredibly tough and chewy, like jerky. I give this place two stars because if you were looking for a place to have a beer and watch a game it might be an ok option. Just make sure you eat before you come.

Gosh. I have such high hopes for this place. I can see they are proactively trying to improve their menu. I think what the issue is, is that their staff needs more supervision and training. Some of the servers are super friendly and attentive, and others need some work. I don't think it's because they are poor employees, I believe it's because many of them are young and need direction. Yesterday I ordered the sesame chicken salad. Today, I ordered it again (because it was literally that delicious). Today, my salad was literally half the size it was yesterday. The sweet and tanginess I loved yesterday was spicy and abrasive today. The chicken slices were too large to eat and it was just as if I ordered something entirely different. Consistency seems to be a common denominator and to be consistent, you need training. Perhaps there needs to be more direction at making dishes in ensuring everyone is making them the same. Maybe there is already a formula for the amount of greens and how much spice, but the employees need to be supervised better to ensure accuracy. Either way, I can see Cooperstown is trying but it seems they are seriously lacking in the training and supervision. I never see a manager around except for the middle aged guy with glasses. To be honest, I see him flirting with young waitresses more often than I see him working. He's creeped me out on a number of occassions. I haven't seen him too recently though. I hope they figure it out before it's too late to save. There's a lot of potential here.

Cooperstown seems to be hit or miss with me. I still love their breakfast menu, and pretty good burgers but I am increasingly disappointed with their entrees. I took a risk trying a $13 plate of macaroni and cheese only to be appalled. It was so greasy and curdled, I could not finish it. No matter how many times I hope that their grilled cheese will be as delicious as they describe it, it never is. The Chimichanga was poor at best, I do not recommend it to anyone, let alone someone who appreciates Mexican food. The crab cakes had a rancid taste to them. I do not think it was the crab. The sour unpleasant taste seemed to be in the breading, perhaps the oil they were fried in? They were also severely overcooked. I did enjoy the fresh dill garnish. I think that decreasing the size of their menu would help them focus on preparing higher quality entrees. I have to comment though that I have never really had bad service here. The staff always seems friendly, even when the restaurant is packed. UPDATE 3/15- The Deluxe Grilled Cheese was pretty good this time. The side salad was great. Lots of fresh dark, leafy greens. UPDATE 5/23 - The service is so slow today. There are only a few tables and still we wait along with a couple beside us. I do not understand this establishment. Our Irish Coffee was horrible. We waited ten minutes for a glass of water. They brought out the wrong order so I did not get to have breakfast with my companions. I did not receive a apology, our waitress just walked away. After today I have no desire to support Cooperstown. I am still hungry. Never again.

Until I can finish my review - food OK, service blew! The night started out as followed: I arrived and was greeted by a blond gal and asked to be seated in the bar. I was seated in the bar and given two menus as I was waiting for a friend to arrive. I was greeted by the bartender and while during my stay, I found out her name was Kaitlyn. I asked for a beer and quickly received one During the first five minutes, the "blond gal" was talking with Kaitlyn and said I just can't stop laughing, giggling", Kaitlyn responded, are you high. The "blond gal" said " no, it's been like two days". My friend arrived, ordered a beer and we chatted., Kaitlyn came back and we ordered our meal and received it in a timely manner. During this period, the restaurant has gotten slower and your employees, well, pull your cameras. Not one, two, three but four where all seated around a table talking, not working and just "hanging out" sitting back but one employee, did, lock herself self of her vehicle which was clocked off. During this period, you had customers come inside the restaurant, wait for a few minutes before any one of those girls got up and helped them. Twice, in my party, we wanted beers.... The first, my friend had an empty glass for at leave five minutes until I asked a male server whom he finally relayed it to Katiyn, whom was sitting on her ass, that finally got up and said " you need another round" and got us beers. We drank those and wanted more. We had to ask someone else for another round who in turn, got relayed to our server. The server when back to the bar, checked her pink phone which was to the left of the register, on-top of a napkin and then proceeded to fill up the beers. Nice! On a positive note, unfortunately, I don't know her name but a younger girl, wearing a red blazer jersey with Matthews on the back worked her butt off and should be commended for her dedicated service. From the time I walked in and left, that server keep going. Back and forth and wasn't involved in the "click" that was going on. So impressed by her skills! The things I hear tonight from start to finish. From your employees who were getting "paid" to work and sitting while there were chairs not pushed in, tables not cleaned, leaves, dirt and wheat thins on the ground, is just wrong! I'd be happy to talk with you in person, e-mail or coffee about how you'd like to fix this, if you choose to fix this that is. It's your operation after-all. With that being said, I will not step foot inside this store again and will move my business elsewhere. And yes, I took one picture of your employees sitting down. I'm looking forward to your prompt reply. End Yelp review here

Like Leilani. I have tried this place 4 times. Every time the food is borderline disgusting. I was there last Friday night. My friend and I ordered the Mac and Cheese. It was like macaroni in a pool of cheese whiz and bits of old nasty bacon. I will never eat there again I don't know how they stay in business.

No meat on half of my $13 french dip. Fries were old and barely warm. Server was not going to take it off my bill until I asked why I'm getting charged full price for half a sandwich. Been there 3 times. First 2 the waitress never checked in after our food was delivered until we asked for the check. No drink refills empty beer and forgot side stuff like ranch and tarter sauce. This last one took the cake. Everyone in Oregon city talks and their reputation is terrible. Won't be long till they have no customers any more.

We went here recently and the food we had was horrible. My wife and I had buffalo wings which had a weird tasting sauce and my wife's were still raw. Also the onion rings and fries were undercooked and rubbery. The kids fish and chips and chicken strips were ok. They made it right on the check but is was not a good experience. I have come here several time over the years and it has never been great. There aren't a ton of dining choices in Oregon City but Pine Garden is next door or go down the street to Bugattis if you want a good dinner.

We came in about 9:30 pm on a Saturday. We were told to seat ourselves, we chose the 3rd table we went to as the others had crumbs and food spills, and coasters on them. We were 1 of 3 groups of people. Service was horribly slow. There were 4 employees behind the bar, out waitress was too focused on taking selfies with a guy drinking at the bar then paying attention to customers. Drinks went empty, took 10 mins to get attention to even close. The food was horrible. Nachos gave me an upset stomach before I left. And the sea salt tots had no salt, and tasted low quality, stale and microwave, nothing fresh. I would have to say service and food was horrible. This was my 3rd visit, the other times were mediocre, not great not bad, but this time was the worst. There was almost twice as many staff then customers, and nothing was clean.

I went here Sunday morning with my friend and our two teenage sons for breakfast. The server seated us very quickly and got our drinks within minutes. She was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. My son really wanted steak and eggs, but it wasn't on the menu. The waitress said they can make anything we want and didn't have any trouble taking our special order. I had the cinnamon swirl french toast and it was huge. I was only able to eat one piece at the restaurant and finished the rest of my meal throughout the day. Breakfast at Cooperstown was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. We all left there full and with plenty of leftovers for the rest of the day. I will definitely be back for breakfast again soon.

My boyfriend and I went to Little Cooperstown to watch the Packers game and I was excited to see the place is basically a Packers house. They had football deals on food and drinks which were reasonably priced and good sized portions. We ordered the potato skins, cheese & bacon tots and the nachos. Amanda, our server, was great and very attentive. We would definitely return for future Packers games.

What's happening at Cooperstown? The quality of the food is on a downhill slide. This was our go to place for a consistently good meal. The last time I went my food was so over cooked and dry I couldn't eat it . The waitress was very apologetic and offered to replace the food , but I was running late late and declined. In the end they didn't charge me for the meal. At least the service has stayed consistently good. I'm afraid we're going to have to take this one off our list.

The food was GREAT and I mean it, until I found a hair attached to my sweet potato fries. YUK! I immediately called the waitress (took a couple attempts as she was running like crazy) and she told her manager. As he approached he asked "is there a problem" I said "yes and showed him the hair which had become detached from the fry as it was sitting in ketchup. I expressed that this was only feedback and was not looking for a free meal; told him that the food had been really good and I had enjoyed it till I found the hair. Told him this was unacceptable and that they needed to be more careful and wear hair nets. He got all defensive and rudely said he would adjust it. He brought the bill back and It had a $5.00 discount on it labeled "OPEN FOOD" WHAT????? I felt that he was calling me a lair. I called him and told him this was an insult and that I wanted to pay for my WHOLE meal! He snatched the bill from my hands, rude as hell, and stomped off. He took the price of the dish off the bill but left a bad taste in my mouth about the place. Not sure if I will be back? Poor Service Rude Management Cleanliness Issues

I really wanted to like this place. The ambiance is perfect! The service is excellent, but the food is horrible ! We bought 3 happy hour items; fish and chips (stale chips), artichoke dip wasn't melted (can't. Even use a microwave) and a burger it was pink of course! Please fix this place !!!!!! You need bar rescue!

We LOVE our weekly date night here! Great Happy Hour food and drinks. You've got to come down and become a regular too. We have gotten to know all the fabulous, hardworking employees and love them.

We've been watching this restaurant go downhill for sometime. Not only does one need to wear a coat year-round (it is THAT cold) but the menu keeps getting cut down. I tried to have breakfast there this saturday and asked the waitress for the password for the advertised wi-fi. It used to work. After giving me useless instructions she told me that they needed to get a new router. That is the same excuse we've gotten for over a year and a half. Just take the darn sign down that says you have wi-fi and problem solved. At least people won't expect it to work. The food and service have deteriorated over the same year and a half. We have decided not to come back. There are just too many places that have better food at lower prices. This place has just crashed off our radar. See ya!

The service is generally on point. Good selection of beers on tap. The food is mostly miss! I ordered the Sideline Potato Skins which were the smallest potato skins I have ever had in a sports bar!

Great service every single time we come here. Glad we have a "neighborhood" place we can come to. We love all the waitresses and George of course! Keep up the great work!!

Good atmosphere for sports fans. If you're looking for a beer and to catch a game or ogle memorabilia you can't beat it. But if you're looking for more than that you best look elsewhere. Food is mediocre at best and service is half-hearted and generally inattentive.

Awful, from the ridiculously sexist place mats they gave my daughter (covered with pics of credit cards, stiletto heels, handbags and lipstick) to the terrible food this place isn't even fit to watch a game at. Poorly made cocktails and a constantly rotating service staff.

  • Audrea H.

Poor, inattentive service. Waitress took our order, dropped our food and we never saw her again until she brought the bill 30 minutes later. My drink sat empty for at least 20 of those minutes. Ordered the Cajun burger cooked medium, was very disappointed, it was cooked well done and absolutely no spice at all to the burger. Poor service, no flavor in the food, not sure if we will be back.

I can understand a lousy review of this place. I ordered the cheesecake once and it was horrible, freezer burnt? With that said we've been going back for the other stuff on the happy hour menu. The fish and chips are great, as are the spinach artichoke dip, fish tacos, and the pretzel. I don't understand the problem with the service. We've had the same, lovely server twice, so the others might stink. She forgot to bring me the malt vinegar for the fish, but re-filled our drinks like lightning, and was overall really wonderful. Don't bother witch the happy hour salad, not anything special. Stay away from anything that they can freeze, and you'll be a happy camper. For the price you can't beat this place. Nice people, sports bar atmosphere, come for what you like. Not for what you don't. I've never tried a drink here, but the 3.99 mojito is on my list of things to try.

  • Kasandra H.

If you're in the mood to watch some sports and grab a beer, this is an alright place. You'll get just that. As for food, it's pretty typically, nothing special and way over priced. The service is far from excellent as well, mediocre at best. Once you get your food, you'll be lucky to see them again, so make sure you get everything you need before they run off.

This is usually our go to place when we go out to eat. This time when we went we ordered calamari which was very delicious and cooked perfect. We also ordered two hefe's the first of which was flat. Hubby ordered Mac and cheese with tomatoes and bacon, it was very creamy and tasty. I ordered the chimichanga by recommendation of the mother in law. It was awful. Beans and rice were very gross. No flavor and rice was a little crunchy. The only taste the chimichanga had was the enchilada sauce and it was packed with rice even thought rice was the side. I also asked for shredded beef and they gave me hamburger. The server did check on us a few times but I had to ask to have my water refilled. All other servers just seemed overwhelmed and didn't smile. Pretty expensive for the quality this time.

  • Michael B.

$12 for a Reuben sandwich, which I asked to be lightly grilled but was actually over grilled which made the bread pretty crunchy. Also I've never seen a Reuben made with 3 pieces of THICK sliced bread, there seemed to be more bread than other ingredients in the sandwich. The portion of French fries that came with the sandwich were more like a half of serving. Over all the sandwich would have been pretty good if it had not been over cooked and the 3rd piece of bread was eliminated. Probably won't return here, their prices are a little more than you would expect, especially with the size of portion and ingredients of the food.

My kids like to go to the coop but we've never had meal without issues. Incorrect fixtures, cold when it should be warm, or just tastes bad. Our servers have been good but the cooks are not good.

  • JD B.

I like the fact it's local and that the sports memorabilia is cool but the food is average and prices were a little high for what you get, felt like they put too much sauce on the wings but my chicken was ok. I will go back but it's more for convenience than anything else.

    (3)
  • Danya W.

went in today for happy hour ...got what they call chicken wings .they are horrible in the first place i thought chicken wings had bones ...theirs are little pieces which kinda looked like dried up overcooked chicken nuggets with some hot sauce dumped on them..no flavor and as hard as rocksi left them !! i should have known better my dad got them about a year ago and at that time said they were not good!! same complaint as i had. to top it off one of the servers i was chatting with a while back was saying they have a turn over of cooks and she added oh the chicken wings ar awful....okay i should have listened to them.i just had to find out for myself... there food id always touch and go and oh so spendy!! the service was very good tonight tho.....

Service is usually pretty good despite it getting busy. We loved the spinach artichoke dip and calamari. Burgers have been delicious. Chicken fried steak was good, just a little to salty. Corned beef hash was SO delicious the first time I had it, the second it was not so fantastic. Mother loved the eggs Benedict with avacado. Like all the sports on... its nice to eat and watch motocross.

Oh, the LCT! Before I moved to SE, this was one of my primary BROC hangouts. It was never overwhelmingly crowded, the burgers are excellent, and the beer selection never let me down. I have many a fond memory of lounging around until closing and the awesome Friday/Saturday night staff that was always hospitable to my late-arriving work gang. However... Though I never experienced any issue with the nighttime service, the daytime service was an entirely different story. My friend and I would often wait 15+ minutes for someone to come take our lunch order, and another 15-30 minutes for someone to grab our check. A quick lunch often became a two-hour powwow while we waited for service. The last time I was there, I was recovering from a nasty stomach bug and had to downsize my standard order. I ended up getting a grilled cheese, and at $9.00, I expected a pretty solid sammich. Much to my disappointment, it was white bread and cheddar cheese. That's it. I would've been okay with that at $5-6.00 (especially at lunch), but I was sorely disappointed. Overall, I've had positive experiences at LCT - I've always been pleased with any salad or burger I've got there, and it's a great dinner spot. However, the lunch service and menu outside of my go-tos leave something to be desired.

Where do I begin? How about the fact that three waitresses saw me, did not acknowledge me then made me wait to seat my wife and I? Then they brought two coasters no water, then one water, then when they brought my coffee with cream they did not bring silverware. When I asked for silverware they brought a knife and fork but no spoon to stir my coffee. And the waitress kept calling my wife "Dear." And yes I had to ask for refills on the coffee. Bottom line - abysmal service, mediocre food. Now we know why Biscuits down the street was crowded and this place was half empty. Don't bother going here. Can I rate it "No Stars?"

It's a good thing this place is dark because the food looks suspicious. I ordered chili and a salad. The salad was wilted and the dressing tasted funny. Oregon City lacks a really good American style restaurant.

I have probably dined at Cooperstown as much or more than anybody. Lately prices are up (way up) quality is down and service is all over the board. I was there yesterday and the wings were terrible for the first time ever. They came with an apology from the manager but he never replaced them. The fries were soggy. Service was pretty good and it was the manager waiting on us. I think I'm done here after 6 plus years of patronage.

Don't go for breakfast. We arrived when there were only 4 other tables being served. We all ordered eggs over easy. My father got one over easy and one over hard. My husband and I ordered our skillet with country gravy on the side. We both got it on the side, but his came with it on the potato and veggie mix in addition. Coffee was adequate to mediocre. Asked for water 3 times before it was delivered. Pancakes came with one ounce ramekin of syrup. Had to ask for jam with my toast, they brought 2 ramekins of that. Server refilled my husbands decaf with caffeinated coffee. Attractive wait staff, clean restaurant, but stick to lunch or dinner. Or hire people who know how to do breakfast.

(NOTE: This exact review was sent directly to the management of lil' Cooperstown Restaurants the night of this incident over a month ago, and they did not bother to respond at all!) The Oregon football game was on, which caused a delay in seating. Fair enough. We were seated within 20 minutes. Our multiple waitresses brought a water and a hot tea water, with a promise to return with teabags shortly. Another waitress came to take our order 15 minutes later, and finally brought teabags, cream and lemon. My husband's bar drink arrived thereafter. 30 minutes later, our waitress came to ask if we'd like to see the dessert menu. My husband responded that he would like to have our dinner first. She went to check on our order, and we were told it would be there shortly. Two groups of 4 who were seated 15 minutes after us received their food and was nearly finished before our waitress again checked on us - still without our order. Overall, our food took over an hour, nearly an hour and a half, to arrive. When it did, the clubhouse sandwich was fine, the pulled pork sandwich was burnt and had jack cheese instead of the requested cheddar, and the Mr. Maddy's (?) Burger was cold and burnt on the edges with re-warmed, old fries. No one checked on us for another 20 minutes. When our waitress finally returned, we had eaten what we could because by that point, we were quite hungry. We informed her of the stale fries, the burnt pork sandwich, and that people that arrived after us had already eaten and were leaving even before we had seen our food. She provided a short apology, and brought us our full check without further explanation. Other tables around us appeared to have been provided with timely service, so it was not a matter of being "busy". The general manager visited every table adjacent to us but ours, and it was not busy enough to see him helping to serve or assist the staff, so it seems to have been an isolated incident. However, it is one that will be deterring our return visit to Lil Cooperstown anytime in the near future. If I wanted to wait an hour and a half for a meal and then pay $50 for it, I would have stayed home and taken the time to defrost meat from my freezer and cooked it myself saving the money and probably eating sooner.

In all fairness if I were just reviewing the hamburgers I would have given a much higher rating, but the service is poor, no one refills drinks etc..the breakfast was awful. If you are looking for a good burger and don't mind chasing down your server to get a refill the place is ok. There are much better places in Oregon City to try though which is what I plan to do next time.

After having talked about trying out the Oregon CIty location, we finally went and had dinner. To be blunt, we won't be back unless we're prodded through the door at gunpoint. There was nothing about this entire experience that rates above 'excruciating', with one exception. First impression on entering was good- clean, not obnoxiously loud or to far into the sports-bar spectrum of things, and who I assume was the manager (a tall, cheerful fellow) seated us. That was the high point of the whole evening. The same man came back to take our drink order a few minutes later because our server was busy (could have fooled me, we didn't see her on our side for quite some time) and we waited for our drinks. Our drinks finally come out (some other server, ours was apparently still busy somewhere) and the cocktail, a Pretty in Pink, was just putrid. It tasted like Vick's 44D with a topper of 7-up. I have had better concoctions at the end of a 3-day drunken camping trip with college students who think PBR is a quality beverage. We order (our server is alive, yay!), a starter and two entrees, and wait. And wait. And wait and wait and wait. When it reaches the point where I (who am pretty patient with restaurants) am getting up to go inquire, our appetizer finally shows up. Our sauteed mushrooms were overcooked to the point where they were in no way sauteed. Every single one had a flat, dark brown spot where they had just sat on the cook surface and cooked. Add in the faint undertaste of burnt plastic and they were not worth the time. Again, en ice-age wait for our entrees, and they show up from yet another random server. When asked if there's anything else we say "yes, some silverware would be great." The poor guy has the good grace to apologize and scuttles off to get silverware. While we're sitting and just eyeballing our food, our original server shows up from wherever the hell she had been hiding with a dish of ketchup for our fries, just as the silverware arrives. From there on out, it went downhill. We sent the cocktail back because it was repugnant, I ate barely a third of my food before giving up in disgust, and my gf did about the same. It wasn't just that the food tasted like a bucket of ass boiled in gasoline, but it was poorly-executed gas-boiled ass. I'm glad I waited this long to try this abomination of a "restaurant". If I had done it any sooner, I might have been caught in my bathroom running low on TP. Thankfully I stocked up and we both don't have that to worry about, only that both my girlfriend and myself feel like we've been punched in the abdomen and got screwed out of the cost of a meal. $40 for a coke and a diet coke, the only parts of the meal that weren't utter sewage, is a bit too much for me.
